Because of the range of possibilities, participants will make their own accommodation bookings according to their needs.  For those wishing to stay with others in the same place, we have made a group reservation at the Royal National Hotel and the Indian YMCA under the name of “Worldwork UK”. (participants are still responsible for their own bookings)
.
We recommend three hotels/hostels where you may be interested to stay during the conference.
The Royal National Hotel (also the main venue of the conference); the Indian YMCA (about 10 minutes walk to the venue) and the County Hotel (2 minutes walk to the venue).
All three range in price as detailed below.

ADDITIONALLY information about further choices of different kinds of accommodation in central London and further away are provided at the bottom of this page. We recommend that you book early to ensure that you get your chosen accommodation.

An alternative way of finding accommodation is to use the hospitality network. http://www.hospitalityclub.org/ This is a free network of people around the world who offer free accommodation, advice and help – i.e. a hospitality exchange. To benefit from this network you must become a member; membership is free. To find accommodation close to the venue using the hospitality network website, click ‘United Kingdom’ and then ‘Greater London’.

Another hospitality network: http://www.welcometraveller.org/ offers the same services but for a small fee.

Please contact Anup Karia on worldwork@worldwork.org if you have any queries or difficulties.

Meals
Breakfast is usually part of the accommodation package in a hotel or hostel.

There are a range of restaurants and cafes to eat outside the venue (where you can find food at prices ranging from £5 -£10).
We will circulate a list at the conference.

Dinners; we are organizing two evening dinners together at the Indian YMCA (located 10 minutes walking distance) for a reasonable rate. It is good quality Indian food in cheerful surroundings. The arrangement for these dinners will be made at the conference. The two evenings are Friday 25 and Monday 28 April. The meal cost £9.
