Worldwork History
Worldwork seminars are training and research events, conducted
to promote and develop techniques for facilitation of large group
processes and dialogues on issues of conflict and oppression.
The work is based on the paradigm of Process Oriented Psychology,
also known as Process Work, develop by Dr.
Arnold Mindell and colleagues over the past thirty years.
In addition to smaller local and regional Worldwork seminars,
open forums, town meetings and Worldwork events within organizations,
large Worldwork seminars are held in various countries:
The first worldwork seminar took place in 1991 on the Oregon
coast, and was facilitated by Drs. Arny and Amy Mindell with
the assistance of a staff of certified process workers. Since
then Worldwork seminars, facilitated by a large international
staff, have been held in Switzerland, Slovakia, India, Greece
and in the United States. The last Worldwork seminar took place
in Sydney (Australia) in 2006.
